Eunice Choi

Hey, I'm Eunice ✌️

I'm the creative force behind polished products fueled by user research, data analytics, and product sense.

Currently a UX Designer @ Counterpart Health.

 WHAT I DO

I have 7 years of experience crafting polished products grounded in user research, product strategy, and uncompromising design quality.

I dive deep into problem spaces and have designed products for customers in industries such as healthcare, freight forwarding, and real estate.

As an individual contributor, I enjoy the challenge to deliver great solutions that are meet business needs, usability challenges, and technical constraints. There’s nothing better than the moment when design enables the key to turn in a lock of a problem, and everyone can’t believe it wasn’t obvious from the beginning.

My design work experience

MAY 2024 – PRESENT

UX Designer
Counterpart Health

I design within the Interventions pillar, where my work centers on improving diagnostic workflows and supporting practitioners in identifying serious diseases earlier. I have contributed to both the Data Recommendations and DxT pods, collaborating with cross-functional partners to define the problem space of early diagnosis and explore opportunities for impact.

Currently, I lead efforts focused on product excellence, driving incremental yet meaningful improvements that enhance usability and user delight while strengthening user confidence in our product.

Jun 2022 – Oct 2023

Senior Product Designer
Flexport

I was the U.S. design lead for the internal operations tool called Flexport Forwarding App (FFA), whose key users are Flexport operators and partners. I worked in conjunction with 40+ engineers, 1 group PM, and 2 TPMs to officially launch FFA and reduce any workflow inefficiencies.

I was responsible for all UX efforts involving knowledge management, automation program, work management, and both new and improvement features to support operators’ successful transition from a legacy product over to FFA.

Aug 2019 – May 2022

Mid to Senior Product Designer
Raise CRE Brokerage

I owned the end-to-end responsive design for various core aspects of the product (both broker and client-facing), from discovery to launch and beyond.

I designed new features and UX improvements, including a new lease management tool, a streamlined client experience, a new platform-wide search function, and flow enhancement to provide brokers with accurate commission numbers. After the company’s rebrand, I supported setting up the new design foundations for the product.

I was promoted in September 2021.

Jun 2018 – Jun 2019

Product Designer
ZapLabs

I focused on agent marketing and traffic growth to platform for major real estate brands like Coldwell Banker. I touched end-to-end experiences including redesigning the Android app to meet Material Design standards and creating new features with web components to improve agent SEO.

Oct 2017 - May 2018

Design Consultant
Tradecraft (Design Program)

I consulted for real clients across pro-bono mobile and web projects involving UX research, mobile app redesign, and desktop MVP design. Clients included Samsung for Bixby prototype research, SeeAround.me for a mobile revamp, Terminal49 for a dashboard MVP, and Crowdfund Mainstreet for their site’s information architecture.

Beyond the screen…

When offline

📍 Alameda, CA

I cook, read, and explore the Bay Area outdoors with my husband and 3-year old cat, Felix.

Currently settling into our new home in Alameda and using ChatGPT to learn the basics of gardening. Nothing makes me happier than watering our hydrangeas and roses early in the morning.

It’s a contrast from last year, when the idea of two strong legs carrying me to new destinations led to a year of travels. I visited Japan in March last year – hitting up Tokyo, Hakone, Kyoto, and Osaka – averaging 20,000 steps per day. And for one hot summer week in the French Riviera, the same pair of shoes got me through Nice, Eze, Monaco, and Grasse as I sought after the perfect wicker purse (I found one for €39 with unique wooden handles.)

Looking forward to when we’ll head to Puerta Vallerta, Mexico!
